Hi stranger!

My name is Wren (she/her). I am a re-recording mixer & production sound mixer based in Ridgewood, Queens.

What? You want to know more? OMG you’re obsessed with me 🙄

I grew up on a farm on the south shore of Massachusetts, but I’ve been working as a filmmaker since I was 18. I started as an associate producer, cinematographer, and assistant editor with the VII Foundation, shooting their first feature documentary Eat Up. I then floated around non-union features as a 2nd AC and set grip before landing in the union as a boom op & sound utility, working on films such as Free Guy, I Care A Lot, and CODA.

In 2020, I moved to NY to pursue my MFA in Directing at NYU Tisch Grad Film. Since moving to NY, I started my post production business and have gotten to work on some pretty cool films, like Revelations of Divine Love and The Scout. I’ve designed short films that have won King Awards, and gone to festivals like Sundance, Slamdance, Palm Springs, Tribeca, Cannes, and San Sebastian. I also continue to make my own films, and teach film sound for directors at NYU.

When I’m not working, I spend a lot of time riding bikes with the ladies of Chill Racing NYC.
